Suhail’s breakthrough came when he was scouted by Real Kashmir Football Club’s youth development team. The club itself a symbol of hope and defiance in Kashmir gave him structure, support and a platform to showcase his skills on a larger stage. Under professional training, his talent flourished. By the time he was 15, Suhail was already being talked about in national circles. Videos of his gameplay began circulating on social media, catching the attention of scouts across the country.

In a region where youth rarely make it to national headlines for sporting achievements, Suhail made history by earning a spot in India’s U-17 National Football Team. It wasn’t just a personal victory – it was a moment of pride for Kashmir. Representing India on international soil, Suhail brought with him the hopes of an entire generation of Kashmiri youth who often feel disconnected from such opportunities. His inclusion in the squad was not merely about skill – it was about resilience, identity and breaking barriers.
