
In a groundbreaking achievement, 12-year-old Ayesha Binti etched her name into history by winning a bronze medal at the 38th Sub-Junior National Taekwondo Championship, held from 29 Nov to 01 Dec 2024, at the Tau Devi Lal Stadium in Panchkula, Haryana. This remarkable feat not only marks a personal triumph for Ayesha but also establishes her as the first-ever sub-junior female athlete from Jammu & Kashmir to clinch a medal in a recognized national-level Taekwondo competition.
