The Indian quartet clinched a bronze medal, making history for the nation.

In a competition dominated by athletes from winter sports powerhouses, the Indian team proved that they are no longer mere underdogs but serious contenders at the global stage.
Overwhelmed with emotion, Aadil dedicated his historic triumph to his mentors, Mohammad Iqbal and Irfan Aziz, who played a crucial role in shaping his journey. He also shared a heartfelt message for aspiring athletes across the country.
“This medal is not just mine, it belongs to every athlete in India who dares to dream. Winning India’s first-ever medal at the Icestock World Championship is an honor and I hope this inspires young sports enthusiasts, especially from Jammu & Kashmir, to pursue winter sports with passion and dedication. This is just the tip of the iceberg for India in Icestock sport.”

His success could serve as a catalyst, encouraging young athletes to explore unconventional sports and take the road less traveled. With the right support and infrastructure, India could soon stand shoulder to shoulder with the world’s winter sports giants.
As the dust settles on this historic event, one thing is clear—India has made its mark in the icestock scene and this is just the beginning. Aadil and his teammates have opened the doors for future champions, ensuring their place in history as pioneers of India’s journey in the world of winter sports.Aadil and his team proved that with determination, hard work, and personal belief, no dream is too distant.
